In this image you can see the last (aproximatly 1/6) of the ski slope, the beginner area at the end of the run.
In the winter, at night when the slope is lighted, it can be seen from the roof of the Appalachian Amusement Center building, and also from Interstate-40 for about 1/2-mile as it passes Jonathan Creek at mile-marker 20. The AAC building can also be seen from I-40 at the same point. The ski area is usually open from December 15 to March 15.
