All about those annoying little dots you've found in
The Vertical Wind Tunnel Directory

The Vertical Wind Tunnel Directory was originally created for me in 1997 by a friend who was starting a web page design business. I wanted to tell the world about all the existing VWT facilities as a service to users, and to promote body-flying. Part of this service is a realistic comparative evaluation of the flight qualities of these tunnels, because the quality varies greatly from tunnel to tunnel, and published airspeeds and diameters are usually highly exaggerated. I am part of a small group of professional VWT fliers/instructors with thousands of hours of flight time in many VWTs, who have had a unique opportunity to experience, compare, and note these qualities. These fliers are major contributors to The Vertical Wind Tunnel Directory, and primary featured fliers in Body Flight (the Video). This directory is a living database of information about VWTs. The dots show you for each of these fliers, which VWT's they have personally experienced, and who flew there first. A blue dot indicates that video of this person flying in this VWT was shot for the Body Flight videos. A red dot indicates no video was shot of this flier for Body Flight.
