12-27-2005 Acoustic Measurements 165 Yards from Exit

These measurements were made because this is as far from the exit as we can go on site and still keep the exit in view. When these measurements were taken it was 61 degrees F., 34% relative humidity, and 29.93 barometric pressure with no wind. There was one flier in the air from which our laser range finder could measure. The intake was much closer than the exit, but was behind a hill, so we could not measure to it. The ambient noise was 66.4 db and the noise at 605 RPM was 77.1 db, or 10.7 db above ambient. The compass heading to the flier was 80 degrees. This chart below shows these measurements in detail.
